Introducing “Home / Wāskahikan on the Water” 🌊 

Welcoming National Indigenous History Month with a new beaded design on canvas. This creation symbolizes a space where some families call home, on the land by the water watching a beautiful sunset. As an Indigenous artist, I enjoy beading art that celebrates our people, cultures, and communities. 

This creation is special as it can be yours ❤️ I am raffling this piece for $5 a ticket with a portion of the proceeds for We Matter. 

We Matter is an Indigenous youth-led and nationally registered organization dedicated to Indigenous youth support, hope and life promotion. Suicide rates for Indigenous youth are several times higher than that of other Canadians, as well as rates for challenges like addiction, abuse, and school drop outs. With your support, you can help change lives of Indigenous youth. 

GUIDELINES
- By purchasing a ticket (online or in person), we have included your name and email address to the digital draw
- Participants have no limit on the amount of raffle tickets they would like to purchase
- Deadline to purchase tickets is July 19th at 12 pm EST 
- The winner will be selected on Instagram live on July 19th at 6pm EST
- The winner will be notified via the email provided during ticket purchase
- FutureKokum will cover shipping costs to the winner. Please note, FutureKokum is not responsible for lost or stolen mail. Canada Post will require a signature for proof of delivery
